I can only speak for myself as Kelly’s partner, but think the information and techniques definitely empowered me as a father to be. I felt I was set in good stead to know when to step forward to support, and when just to ‘be’ there. The information Nancy shared on what to expect from clinicians helped us to keep ‘our feet on the ground’ and make decisions based on how Kelly wanted her birth to be.
